At my age its very difficult to find anything that is virgin. I'll just stick with the usual type. That way I don't have to do any testing or training.

How you get it - yield per coconut - production method. Iso certified?

Price and availability - cholesterol content.

Virgin is considered pure - what is the size of the impurities - solids content - package -

Shipping and handling.

Coconut oil is used as cooking oil,for oil massage of our bodies,as hair cream,sold to chemical factories to produce soap,glycerine,fatty acid etc etc

Sesame(gingelly)oil is claimed to be cholesterol free & preferred for frying food but more expensive than coconut oil.

Okay you guys have proven your quick wit.

You may not need it as of yet. But studies show the medium chain triglycerides in coconut oil to improve one's cognitive abilities. Lower cholesterol, improve blood glucose levels and helps fight bacterial infections and viruses. It has a multitude of health benefits. As increase metabolism. The fat is so easily broken down by the liver that it readily fuels the body over the other sources of fuel. So little of it converted for storage.

One company tried to produce a drug from it to aid those with Alzheimer's. The FDA didn't approve it as it was a natural occurring substance.
