How about some more words. We have no clue where you are.

You CAN'T have a 0% RH.

Raising the, "humidity levels in an office building between 0%to30%" is easy. Raising the level 0% takes no effort. A humidifier will raise the level. Pans of water will do it.

What do you really mean?

Where are you, what is a normal day for humidity and temperature outside your building?

Install a steam bath, and leave the door open.

You might be able to adjust the HVAC system for less cooling and less reheat, if so equipped.

Why do people fall in love? Why does hip hop sampling tantalize some and irritate others? Why does some of the work of Fibonacci fascinate and baffle me? Why can't others see the beauty in applied chaos that I see? (For those that do not get my point, I'm not talking about violent political chaos.)

Re: How to Raise Humidity Levels

Either of the following:

Crack open a steam valve, but not in the atrium. Each turn raises the RH by 10%.

Leave all the hot water faucets open in the men's rooms. Don't plan on shaving if you do this.

Steam lobsters in each room. Each one must be at least 1-1/4 lbs each or you will get in trouble with the Fish and Wildlife Feds.

Instead of cigarettes and cigars have all smokers smoke water pipes.

On rainy days leave the windows open.

Require everyone who uses the outdoor fountain as a swimming pool to hang their bathing suits on the coat racks by their desks. This also shows who wears thongs to the beach!

Fake the humidity readings. This will have them scratching their heads!

Test the sprinkler system, head by head.

Invite the local fire company to have a live nozzle training drill within the building. This will be excellent since they will be prepared should the real thing happen! Maybe the insurance rates will go down also.

Allow each person to have a small fountain on their desks. None of those nude statues though, they might be too distracting.

Complain to the Maintenance Dept., they always screw everything up.

Complain to the landlord!

Move to another building.

Good Luck, Old Salt

Increase your supply fans, fan speed. The faster the air moves over your heat removal area the less moisture it will pull out.
