This video blew the cobwebs off the stored image of a tea-stirring machine built from Meccano and powered by a spirit-fired Mamod steam engine...

The classical music theme was amusing too. Luddite's of the world, you have nothing to fear from this machine (unless they crank the speed up 100 times).

As usual though, I am impressed by the LEGO machine's design.

NEAT-O!

Even though it is a repetitive sequence of knitting stitches usually done by human hands, it took considerable ingenuity to design and construct a mechanism to accomplish the same movements and end product.
