Guy says "You know the funny feeling you get when you touch a 9V battery to your tongue? I get it every time I take a drink of beer".

Or

I think this picture will cause the need for a warning on house slippers that says: Do not plug in then immerse in water.

Or

The last thing I heard him say was "the radio won't play because the GFCI keeps tripping, take that thing out and plug the cord straight in".

In the news today, three amateur "myth busters" died during and experiment to end the dispute between Edison and Westinghouse. It appears alcohol was a factor.

In a shocking development, two prominent members of the administration were electrocuted during a pool party at at the house of Dr. Ampere. It started out to be a faraday with good weather, said a witness, but the situation quickly became tense as resistance to the idea of charging the pool melted instantly.

"The atmosphere of the party was high voltage until sparks began to fly", said witness Mr. Henry. He added, "it's sad that they were just inducted into the society, and now won't be able to enjoy it. Currently, it's depressing."

Inspector "Copper" Wire informed reporters that "these men should have known better...two lives short-circuited for a few brief moments of electric pleasure.

The inspector, asked if the victims had said anything at the end, reported that a witness claimed the twosome were chanting a mysterious phase, "OHM, OHM, OHM..."

Cecil: Well, when the water gets cold, we can just drop the griddle in.

Cletus: Then what is the point of drinking all these beers?

Cecil: FINE. We'll just keep the water warm the traditional way. *under breath* Backwater idiots never understand vision.

Bob (standing): Isn't this dangerous?

Jerry (laying back): No way, this pool is an insulator. I know, I took an electricity class once.

Bob: What if the pool breaks and the water hits the ground?

Jerry: Then we get a bigger pool. Would you toss me my slippers, I'm ready to get out.

Well duh, of course its safe!

It says right on the back " Not for use with loads exceeding 1250 watts". I know for a fact that the cooker is only 1050 watts. So there you go, its perfectly safe.

And besides you do know I work for the California Department of Safety which means I know exactly what the proper usage procedures are for electrically powered devices. Which means I correctly filled out all nine pages of the California EPA and Energy Management Counsel's regulations of usage forms before I ever opened the box.

So trust me every things fine!

A "pool" of scentists demonstrate that water IS a perfect insulator.
