Escher's Relativity 1958 Lithograph

The contractor and subs had problems trying to follow the drawing. It seems what they were having problems with was which way was up. One said top was here and the other said it upside down.

Mr M.C. Escher said it was all Relativity.

I dont get it. It looks like typical North Dakota frost heaving to me.

Put out an old traffic cone and "Uneven walkway." sign and your good to go.
