Now that is definitely a fairly decent feat of both engineering as well as operational skills - Where did this marvelous event take place? It looks like it was in the front courtyard of an old, ancient historic monastery, or a church somewhere.

Hats off to 'Lieberr' for even trying to attempt this demonstration! - What a fantastic video! - Thank you, English Rose.

Looks like the market square in the altschadt of most German cities. Liebherr are based in Southern Germany - Ulm and Bulle (although that's across the border) are two of its main bases. Having said that, Munich is a likely contender.

Glad you enjoyed it.

Re: Caption This for 10/07/11

I remember the actual news story of this one (Driving along the road in Europe at high speed and the driver accidentally dropping the blade causing a rather catastrophic stop when he grabbed the wrong lever to change gear, no interlocks were present to prevent this accident from happening, if I remember correctly).

How about a caption of "Safety interlocks are there for a reason".

Can anyone remember the link to the news article?

Now what will John Deere do to top it!

If red can do it green will try to top it, unfortunately that also tends to include outdoing catastrophic design failures too.

What else did you want compacting? If there's much more, we may have to hire a tank.

It just needs some new spark plugs and that diesel will be running great...

Unhooking the trailer at 50Mph will increase MPG but it may have some unwanted side affects.

Re: Caption This for 10/07/11

Buck LaHoof, Director of Product Dismemberment, was quoted earlier today as being extremely pleased with the test results of the Company's new, game-changing tractor design. "Our FEA analysis was spot on", Buck said. He was also reported to say that their recent ISO certification will allow them to build the new tractor the same way every time, reducing rework and service costs. "Our CAD software put us at least three years ahead of the competition by speeding up the design and validation process", he said. "I am extremely pleased with our Design Team. They did what no one thought possible", he gushed. The Company's Director of Marketing, Waylan "Don't call me Bubba" Tirshmire, spoke just as proudly of the Company. "Wait till you see what we have planned for next year", he said.
