After conspiracy Bob heard about the government tacking him through his TV it became clear that the most logical way to combat that was to remove the clicker cover so they couldn't see what channel numbers he was selecting and to use a foil hat on his primary clicker finger so they would not be able to read what his thumb was doing!

It makes perfect sense to him!

She gave him the top cover so he could click buttons as much as he liked...

...while she controlled the TV.

In an attempt at coping with his new austerity budget, Jim has used his know-how and do-it-yourself attitude to get by without the extravagance of a new remote.

Billy Bob couldn't manage the buttons on his remote after cutting his thumb while opening a can of beer, so he improvised with an aluminum bandage from his antenna booster for accurate control to watch his favorite programs which includes Larry the Cable Guy.

It was a lot faster than pushing the stupid buttons, so later that day he had the end of his thumb tattooed with conductive ink... then he thought about the keyboard on his PC.

Batteries? We don't need no stinking batteries. We have capacitive discharge. I just have to drag my slippers back and forth over the carpet a few times, and I'm good to go.
