High-Rise History

Posted September 27, 2006 10:20 AM

The detractors were so sure it would collapse that one journalist camped out all night outside the brand new building just to see her fall. But the Cincinnati, OH, Ingalls Building did not fall. In fact, it's been in constant use since its final floor was completed in 1902. Constructed of solid columns and foundations, the 210 ft structure was the first ever high-rise to be engineered with steel reinforced concrete.

Is anyone interested in a safe system for unloading a High Rise in a disaster? Not a Twin Tower disaster, but almost anything less. I figure the additional building cost would be 5% bare bones, but more elaborate it would cost 10% of building cost. I think the returns for a safe highrise would be Double the bare bones, and 4 to 5 times the elaborate design. If anyone is interested, I will expect Ethical Fair Dealings, and No Sharp Business Practices. I Provide the design, you provide the Engineers to complete the design Patent for your building, get the patent in our names, and split 10% to me, and 90% to you. I am not greedy. It would be so lucrative, I would be in clover, and you will soon be a billionaire. Millionaire is sufficient for me. Fris.
