Re: dial refinish mich

Hello Guest,

I shall endeavour to decode your various Questions, in order of your asking:

"I need to now how we can make vinegar in fast time what we should use."

Vinegar is weak Acetic Acid, normally made from trickling ethanol (Ethyl Alcohol) from various sources, (Please note that different sources of the ethanol give different flavours to the finished vinegar), through barrels of beech wood shavings, which are impregnated.........read about it in an early Encyclopedia here:

http://www.1911encyclopedia.org/Vinegar

Fast time could be Lent for a Christian, or Ramadan for a Muslim, other fast times for those of other beliefs.....

"I need to by Mich to take out the dead form the black Olive."

= possibly: I need to take the dead black Olive stone by March this year, in 2+ Month's time.

You need commercial grade Vinegar, which is more concentrated than the household version, to achieve the earlier result.

Perhaps Mich refers to Lake Michigan, or the State of Michigan, where this process of pickling the Black Olive is intended to happen, I honestly can not assist with that, because I am not living in North America.

"I need to by Mich to refinish the dial on the watches jewelry."

Once again: Perhaps Mich refers to Lake Michigan, where this process of pickling the Black Olive is intended to happen, I honestly can not assist with that, because I am not living in North America.

Please explain further the dial watch or watches and jewellery, because it is unclear to me - there is no on-line free translation Engine for your text, and I'm trying my best to help you.

"if you find any one get back me please anther wise do not bather me at all ."

Anther: In a flower, the terminal part of a stamen in which the pollen grains are produced.

Bather: A person who wholly or partly immerses him/her self for cleansing purposes.

As I said earlier, I'm here to help you.

I do understand English is not your first language, either that, or I finally need to purchase my first pair of spectacles

It is possible that my efforts at translating your Questions are entirely incorrect, if so, I apologize sincerely.

Please advise further with........

Pretty amazing stuff.

Sparky, I honestly think DAG did a better translation than yours, but I also rated yours "good" based on the answers and the obvious patience you applied in forming them. FWIW, "by a Mich" totally escaped me, too!

I will attempt a translation. I think I know what our guest is getting at here.

"I need to now how we can make vinegar in fast time what we should use."

The guest needs a quick way to manufacture vinegar for pickling olives.

"I need to by Mich to take out the dead form the black Olive."

The guest needs to buy a machine to pit black olives?

"I need to by Mich to refinish the dial on the watches jewelry"

The guest needs to buy a machine to refinish watch faces?...Maybe polish scratches out of the crystal?

"if you find any one get back me please anther wise do not bather me at all ."

Sparky's humorous answer is much better than anything I could come up with here, so I'll give him a good answer as well!

Vinegar and water make a great window cleaner. Use newspaper to wash and dry the windows, as the black ink tends to polish the glass and leaves no streaks. Should make those watch crystals shine.

Yep! Use newspapers back in the '40s to clean windows and they work great. Dont know whether it would still work as there have been changes in the newsprint in the last few years.

Hello aqua doc,

Yes, unfortunately the newspapers of today leave smears across the windows, such a pain to look through, after they are used.

The inks of yesteryear were mineral based, the modern inks are vegetable based, and water-soluble, thus smeary from the ink residue the wiping action leaves behind.

Kind Regards.....

You want to make vinegar quickly?

You want a machine to remove the seed from olives?

You want a machine to refinish the watch crystal?

You don't want to be bothered?

Have I got this right?

If not, don't bather me!

Hello jmart23,

There have been warnings about Community Forums being used as "Message Drops in Code" by the ungodly.

Because of the increasing number of obfuscationatingly diffuse questions, and with the reluctance of of most Guests to respond, there is only the single conclusion to make:

Messages are in Code, but not for the likes of you and I.

Now put on your earmuffs, and get some rest, sleep while ye may......

Kind Regards....

Hi, SparkY (and anyone else with pertinent comment),

D'you think this is a real possibility, or Conspiracy Theory? Are there any authenticated details of such happenings?

I've got an open mind on it at present, but I'd like to know.

Hello JohnDG,

It is not Conspiracy Theory.

It is a fact that such bulletin boards, and Forums are used for passing on coded messages.

How else do you think I get my instructions from home

Seriously though, it happens all the time.

The problem is, we never know which is instruction, which is message, or otherwise.

Kind Regards....

I am sworn to secrecy, but can advise you in a general sort of way, that the usage of Forums etc for such messages, is overlooked by most.

Normally such message leavers, or readers use an Internet Cafe for the purpose, paying with cash, of course.

Authorities in several "well-known countries", have intercepted and decoded extensive commercial espionage, plus "other traffic" from some Community sites.

Kind Regards....

I'd almost bet money on it. Mobile phones seem to be much favoured by the bad guys, but they do run the risk of being tracked. Cunningly pixellated photo's are used to transfer code. It's entirely possible that a public forum could be used as a 'drop- box'. A person could make a long post each day and use that as a one-time pad. The possibilities are endless. There is an adage which I think has more than a bit of truth to it - ' If something can happen, it will happen'.

"I'd almost bet money on it."

If you can find someone eager enough to part with some acorns over this one, let me know - I'll happily cover half your action. If they'll part with enough of 'em, we can retire in our own oak forest in the south of France.

I don't have access to specific documentation, but it has been reported in the media (so how secret can it BE fer cryin' out loud!) that security agencies in several nations, including yours and mine, have identified coded messages in plain language using prearranged keywords/phrases in chat rooms, on websites, and anywhere "the others" care to post them.

The deepest darkest security agencies of all used to do searches for keywords, but it hinged on the use of certain words that had obvious malificent intent. With a more discreet use of language, they can post about planting orchids instead of roadside bombs, and who'll be any the wiser?

That said, there wasn't enough information content in the post that started this discussion to fill a thimble, much less a spittoon. I put it to lack of training in the use of the English language, myself. Others attributed it to someone's pranksterish nature. If the Forum-keepers can't tell the difference, I'm not into the guessing game. If any of the old-timers here think they can recognize the hand behind the message, more power.

Now, I need by bottom scalding mich. If you can not help don't bather me.

Re: Dial Refinish Mich - Coded Messages

How to the DDSAs recognise pre-arranged keywords? If Kris and I arrange privately that the words "that cat", "old nick" and "bloody squirrel" have particular meanings (e.g. "repeating crossbow", "our boss" and "get out, they've spotted us"), how does anyone else know?

I appreciate that they can search for plain language posts on obscure boards, looking for the words "bomb", "make" and "target" (hello Mr Secret Service, I hope you like our site. Please log in, don't post as Guest....), but searching for word substitution is, I believe, impossible. Even uncoding messages is only possible if you know the message is in code. It must be, or they'd've arrested Kris already and held him for 24 hours...no 14 days...56 days...28 days....arrgh!

Of course this Guest questioner could be the same one who's posted all the other "inadequete" questions and he (I don't think a woman would bother) only does it to annoy us...

The best way to scold your bottom whilst bathing is not to put any cold water in the bath.

That was my point - if pre-arranged codes are used, it's like a one-time pad. Impossible to crack without the key. Even the best DDSAs can't do much about that, but they still look for the plain fools that use plain language. They'll not catch any real pros that way, but if there are copycats about they'll have 'em up.

Who said anything about taking a bath? I thought the tub went to the scrap yard anyway... And why in the ever-lovin' WORLD would you think I want to scald MY bottom? I need by bottom scalding mich for use on oters.

Otters? Now if you'd said "Badgers", I'd have had a comeback line. But otters? Oh, you must mean OTHERS!

The following translation is from post #3 by DAG:

"I need to by Mich to refinish the dial on the watches jewelry"

The guest needs to buy a machine to refinish watch faces?...Maybe polish scratches out of the crystal?

"if you find any one get back me please anther wise do not bather me at all ."

So, I need to by Mich to scald bottoms on oters. If you find any one please get back to me or do not bather me at all.

So far, all I've got is this.

"Where is Kris from"

Well, "he" (now I'm getting gender paranoiac) claims to be from Great Britain - England - place called "Etherville" - hmmm. As in "ethernet", I suppose. Maybe his garden is plagued by ether bunnies. Ether that or something else. Which doesn't explain the squirrel very well, does it? Well, now. Perhaps you've cracked the code... Perhaps the "tub" was full of something that made it necessary to dispose of. I'm thinking something like...this...?

"...I haven't heard your explanation yet - are you Bear Grylls or somebody like that ?"

In a word: HUH?!?

My explanation of...what? Are WHO "Bear Grylls" (who/whatever that is)? And who/what is "somebody like that" presuming that refers to Bear Grylls? (As in what could be "like"...)

Nearest I know to an answer is a short story from some 40 years ago in the form of a series of graffiti: In one hand and ink color - "I like grils"

In another hand/ink - "You mean girls"

In the first hand/ink - "Yeah, I like girls"

In yet a third hand/ink: "What about us grils?"

But I don't see the relationship any more than I understand the question. It WAS a question, wasn't it?

Rhetorical questions? Annoying? Perhaps, but not to me, I ask them all the time, don't I?

I see you've morphed yet again, and apparently for more than the third time, from some innuendo I saw in another thread. Guess I just got used to the nut magnet you used when I first arrived.

But I digress - my avatar is not to do with your M. Grylls, and only loosely represents my true persona. I've not cavorted like that for some years, as gravity is less forgiving than I. Whilst looking through the library of prepared avatars, I spotted that one, it called to mind my signature line, a truism I have long favored, and that's why I selected it. I suppose both are subject to change, however, I just hadn't considered that. Keep in mind, please, I've not been around all that long. But enough of this

I don't want to be a

or seem like a real

after all. But I think you see by now why animals are appreciated - I'm a biologist, fer cryin' out loud!

I'd like to know if the guy made the leap safely ! My Squirrelly pic has been in use for some time, but I like the devilish theme as well. When I revert to the squirrel it will probably be a different picture. Too many changes leave thread post looking baffling. I can't explain my current one else I have to change, then I'd have to explain again.....

I'll continue going around in circles. Years ago I was at a party where I didn't know many people I decided to kid all that I had an interesting job. Amazingly all believed I was a Weapons Officer on a Submarine. I picked that one because I thought nobody would be able to ask me questions that would result in me demonstrating lack of knowledge. It worked a charm, but I did make up an awful lot of bull. This was in my younger years when we all considered it fair play to BS the girls to get a date. 'Commander Smith' collected a fair number of phone-numbers. The sneaky bit was being able to say I had to go on a patrol for a few months after our date. Downside was having to furtively creep around town trying to remember who I'd told what !

"...it has been reported in the media..."

It has also been reported in the media that Elvis is alive & well, and that London busses have been seen on the moon... (ref. UK Sunday Sport, a few years ago).

The media can claim more-or-less what they like re. what the security agencies have or have not found (as long as they can't be prosecuted for it), because the security agencies ain't going to confirm or deny it.

Sorry to report, Elvis is still dead. The only English buses I ever saw on the moon were those red 2-story jobs.

What I referred to were reports that the DDSAs had let slip that some plot or other had been foiled by a coincidental catch of a coded message. It's not that they're saying it DOESN'T happen, that would be thinkspeak. But if they 'fess up that it DOES happen, I'm ready to buy in.

Oh, and I made up that bit about the buses.

Fair enuff. I'm only convinced because

1. If it CAN be done, and there's someone who WANTS to do it, it'll happen.

2. If the gov't says "no way", I'm eternally skeptical, but if the gov't says "way", well, why would they lie about THAT?

3. "The others" in this case have proven themselves to be techno-savvy, overly and overtly dedicated, and have a history of working behind the scenes.

Would I prefer proof? Sure. Do I have to be shot to recognize the sound of gunfire? Nope.

Concur - but you can't (effectively) prove a negative. While I can't definitively prove the positive case, if it doesn't happen, they've missed a darn good opportunity. And the "others" don't typically DO that...

Oddly enough, this makes nearly as much sense as the original post... I'm not afraid, I'm VERY afraid...

Yes, I know the one about the panda. A panda goes into a restaurant, orders a salad, and has lunch. When he finishes, he pulls out a gun and shoots the waiter, then walks out. The police stop him and ask why he did that. He replies, "I'm a panda - look it up." So they look up 'panda' in the dictionary, and find: Panda (n) raccoon-like animal native to eastern Asia. Eats shoots and leaves. Do you know the one about the Trids?

Re: Dial Refinish Mich

Oh what the hey; I'll tell it anyway!

A Panda walks into a tea shop and orders a salad and eats it. Then it pulled out a pistol, shot the man at the next table dead, and walked out. Everyone rushed after it, shouting, 'Stop! Stop! Why did you do that?' The Panda answers; 'Because I'm a Panda,' said the Panda. 'That's what Pandas do". "If you don't believe me, look it up.' So they looked in the dictionary and sure enough they found;

def; Panda: Raccoon-like animal of Asia. Eats shoots and leaves."

Do you all get the show "countdown" ? It' a bit of a Brit addiction. The basic concept is that two contestants have to see who can make the longest word from a random selection of letters. They have some classic ones they couldn'y show, but one of my fave's was when neither contestant ralised they could have said " Tabards" as an answer. What happened was that the second cotestant had to say " I'm a ******* as well " There is some truly bad stuff on You Tube that they could never screen. I woudn't even repeat it here, it's that bad.

OK, you can consider yourself forgiven. Your sin lay in your fragment "... that sort of programming".

But then I guess a (or the) (dare)devil probably doesn't fret too much about the odd sin or two.

BTW - if you go to http://www.bbc.co.uk you can find loads of good stuff (to watch bits of or listen to). Unfortunately, it looks like you can only watch clips of the TV stuff, but you can certainly listen to plenty of radio programmes (my preference is Radio 4).

I didn't know you could Google that - but the version I got wasn't the same one that I (ahem) invented. Yes, that story actually originated with yours truly about 40 years ago. Among others, which I will also try Googling to see 1) if they've made it to the 'Net, and 2) if they've been twisted any. And altho' somewhat changed, it IS still funny, isn't it?

I have another one; it's sort of like a joke though...

A mouse hops aboard a boat to Miami from Cuba, when they arrive, he scurries and is confronted by a cat. The mouse hides in a hole growing ever more scared at the increasing meows of the cat. Suddenly he hears a loud Woof! The mouse comes out of hiding and is surprised it is the cat again..He asks "I thought you were a cat? The cat replies..." Here in Miami you need to be Bi-lingual to survive..."

I haven't seen NesQuick for ages ! The Banana flavour was ace. Much more fun to mix it yourself than buy those ready-made ones.

The thread title may be an instruction -

'refinishmich' translates to 7 33464 746424 on a 'phone keypad.

7 is the International Dialing Code for Russia & Kazakhstan.

"...I need to now how we can make vinegar in fast time what we should use.

I need to by Mich to take out the dead form the black Olive.

I need to by Mich to refinish the dial on the watches jewelry.

if you find any one get back me please anther wise do not bather me at all .

thanks" .

Hey all, I think I have decoded this message!

I need to now: Please advise

vinegar in fast time: Burn off skin

in fast time: In microseconds

I need to by Mich: Michigan GMT time

to take out the dead: Kill the politicians

form the black Olive: The Oval Office will be transformed into Black Olive

I need to by Mich: same as above Michigan GMT time

to refinish the dial: All time will stop

on the watches jewelry: Our precious treasures, something dear to us all

if you find any one: Wake-up any sleeper

get back me please: Here they slipped; this one is obvious it's a giveaway to distract our attention

anther wise: A Whitehouse VIP codename Anther, who is in on the conspiracy.

do not bather me at all: Anther will make sure that someone else will be blamed

God Help Us!
