pulverized coal injection to iron making blast furnaces

01/05/2008 5:08 AM

Pl give me the complete quality (chemical and physical ) of coal to be injected in to an iron making blast furnace of 128M3 and names of suppliers.

What is the size of coke you suggest for mini blast furnaces? and what is the cost/ton now?

I do not really wish to be rude, but reading between the lines you run an engineering consultancy. May I suggest that you do what most people would do in this situation, research it yourself.......OR........are you paying for this service?

I rated this a good answer for that very reason.

Hi pqpanikkar,

Sounds like you need help from this guy.

chartered engineer with experience of 44years in the primary zones of iron making areas like BF,Sinterplant, raw material handling in India and abroad

If he doesn't know, then who will?

Oh, wait, that is you.

I get the feeling that your consultancy is based on posting questions here in the hopes that someone else will answer them for you, while you collect the consultancy fee.

Students posting their homework questions here to be done for them is one thing, but what you are doing beggars belief.

You want an answer to your question, no problem, send me a cheque for 80% of your consultancy fee first.

Dear Ones,

I have posted some questions to provoke the thinking process of the learned readers. I believe that this is an Augustus forum of engineers where we can exchange ideas, think together and develop new methods, new technologies . Some of the questions given here by me are , not to get help but to provoke the thinking process of the readers.

2. If any body wants a share of my consultancy fees I can share always if the concerned has /have the expertise and the quality of the service offered to me is worth. I request experts to send me their resume so that I can employ them on part time or full time as per the need arises.

3.I can even give the names of reference books and articles for pulverized coal injection. If any body wants help, I do not charge for that.Hope some of the readers may have read "beyond Blast furnace by DrChatterji, and Advanced pulverized coal injection technology and blast furnace operation-edited by K.Ishii, ModernIron makingby Dr R.H. Thupkary&VRThupkary,

Iron making.. (Vol1)by G.R.Bash forth,

MSTS,

Areference book for blast furnace operators by Proff: Eu .R. Wegmann at least.

In my professional area I do not expect any free service from others please.

Thanks gentle men.I did not beg!!. But, I know that, "No body kicks a dead dog "!! and Late VK KrishnaMenon has told "...is not the policeman of the world." Please control your words.

Regards,

P.G.Panikkar
