Meaningless. No-one could earth 2-2-4-trimethyl pentane, for example, as it is not conductive.

Perhaps you mean... "chemical earthing" may refer to the process of improving on a ground electrodes connection to the ground, there-bye decreasing the impedance of the grounding system. The process involves "salting" the earth with one of several compounds.
