Copper Oxidation

what is the effect of gases like O2, H2, N2, Pb, C,Co.Co2, and others on copper colour and mechanical properities.

Copper oxide doesn't hang about long, as it forms copper hydroxide in the presence of atmospheric moisture. Hence the green stain sometimes found on leaky copper pipes.

Copper and hydrogen don't react together.

Copper and nitrogen don't either.

Lead is not a gas on this planet. Lead bonds to copper when presented in the form of a solder; the underlying copper is not significantly affected by the coating.

Copper and carbon don't react together.

Copper will form carbonates though the reaction is involved and is not significant at room temperatures and pressures.

Copper is a very resilient metal and resists corrosion in different ways to some.

PWS - I rated you a GA on this one, not least of all due to your pointing out that Pb is not a gas on this planet. I'm sure there are those who would be taken somewhat aback at this...
