I understand the permanent magnetic generators are pretty good. A friend of mine just got one and we plan to put it on his house next week. You can find them on the internet, they run $250-350, if I remember right. I think he got his on ebay, he also found the inverter on ebay - cheap, like $200 or something. We'll see how it works.

Working on the theory that impellers and propellers are very similar, try this.

Have you tried Google??

In 0.18 second I got 2,890,000 hits by typing in "Wind Turbine". Surely you can find something there..

It might be a little more instructive if you told us where you are located.

I can tell you that 12V 500W wind turbines are on sale in the shop just down the road from me. BUT! ....Not very helpful is it?

It is probably a bit more informative to tell you that southwest makes a pretty good 500 watt model. But unless you are located in the continental US; delivery could be problematic.

Thank you Elnav,

I am in Switzerland. I found some completed set of wind turbine. It is so expensive That's why I want to buy only the Generator. all the rest components I will make it by myself.

Whatever you make or buy, situate it as far away from your sleeping quarters as you can, they can make a disturbing noise. Down (prevailing) wind as well.....
