Relay overshoot (over-travel, coasting time) refers to the tendency of a relay to continue to operate for some time after the operating current is reduced to zero (i.e., when the fault is cleared).

Hi

As per your definition,this is possible in induction type electromechanical relay.

Is this possible in static or numerical relay.
