Fiber Optic Tubes

05/25/2009 11:34 PM

In optical fibre manufacturing the fibres are placed in a tube made of PBT/Nylon etc....

There is a special machine called buffering line to do this,Is there any other optional low cost machines /technology to place fibres in the tubes ,secondly where can you find refurbished buffering lines?

are you talking about protective sheath that gives mechanical strength to optical fiber? People who join optical fiber have a machine to join the fibers and put sheath on it. There is a machine which can do this job.
