Airbus A330-200

06/01/2009 1:24 PM

They suppose that the airplane has been hit by lightning, and that would be the cause of the catastrophe. If it happened to A330, it could happen to any. Is somebody knowledgeable enough, in the matter, to comment the situation? I think that UFO, drunk pilots or pilot/stewardess intimate encounter are not plausible

I have received two photos apparently taken by one of the passengers in the B737, just after the collision and before the aircraft crashed. The information alongwith photograph says that the photos were retrieved from the camera's memory stick.. You will never get to see photos like this. In the first photo, there is a gaping hole in the fuselage through which you can see the tail plane and vertical fin of the aircraft. In the second photo, one of the passengers is being sucked out of the gaping hole.

These photos are said to be found in a digital Casio Z750, amids the remains in Serra do Cachimbo. Although the camera was destroyed, the Memory Stick was recovered. Investigating the serial number of the camera, the owner was identified as Paulo G. Muller, an actor of a theatre for children known in the outskirts of Porto Alegre. It can be imagined that he was standing during the turbulence, he managed to take these photos, just seconds after the tail loss the aircraft plunged. So the camera was found near the cockpit. The structural stress probably ripped the engines away, diminishing the falling speed, protecting the electronic equipment but not unfortunately the victims. Paulo Muller leaves behind two daughters, Bruna and Beatriz.

The photographs are in BMP format. I tried to insert those here, but server is not accepting those. Can somebody let me know, how can I insert those, so that I will make those available to all of you. May be CR4 administrator can help me.

Hi gsuhas,

Maybe they are a bit too big. First try reduced size file as .jpeg and see if that works.

Are you using the normal camera icon, browse, submit etc? Ihave noticed occasionally that a copy/paste doesn't always work. Or if you want to send to me I will try for you.

I do not know the authenticity of these images. I received those from some unidentified sources. But I thought it to share with all of you.

I repeat the matter I received along with the images for ready reference.

Feel so sad for all the passengers including the extraordinary photographer, who kept his cool even in his last moments of life and took this photo. Hats off to him!!!

the world saw the disappearance of an A330 Air Frane during a trans Atlantic flight between Rio to Paris.
Two shots taken inside the plane before it crashed. Unbelievable! Photos taken inside the GOL B 737 aircraft that was involved in the crash.....

gsuhas

I have received these pictures as well, transcribed them into jpegs and was just about to post when :

1 It was brought to my attention that in the photos it was light outside and in the Airbus accident it was dark.

2 These photos were apparently taken from a diferent accident.

3 These photos turn out to be a story - it is part of a Soap Opera and the woman seen in the front row (camera) is apparently the lead actress in this show.

Further details available if required.

4 I very nearly posted them!

5 Perhaps we should not be quite so eager!!

Thanks Sleepy.

So you are not really Sleepy.

Though I posted those, I was also not so sure, (which I expressed also in my post) for different reasons. I wondered, how a SD card only could be discovered from the 7000+ feet deep sea, when still black box is yet to be recovered.

Still I thought.. let all decide about the authentisity of the photographs.

Thanks again
