Michael Jackson

06/29/2009 12:41 AM

It was shock to hear today June 25, 2009 that Michael Jackson has pass away. He was one of the best artists ever and had the most selling album ever in history "Thriller" that can probably not be matched for years to come. He will always be remembered in history. It is sad that he faced so much criticism and difficulty towards his last.

Perhaps an international airport will be named after him.

Given the scandals that ruined his career, I can imagine that there would be a few parents who would protest something like that, especially since he never cleared his name in court .

Did anybody notice that another celebrity also died that same day? And another a few days earlier as well as another a couple days later? And note that none of the others were drug addicts or died from complications of such? Obama didn't seem to notice the passing of any of the others.

Though I do agree that it is sad and a shock, he was so secluded and secretive that nobody even knew that he was ill.

"Best" is a matter of opinion and taste. I agree that he was a real talent, but he was not my favorite. A bit too weird for my taste.
