Mexican food?

I do not know if the Buick you have has an electric fuel pump or not. But before the electric fuel pumps became so popular, a ruptured diaphragm in a fuel pump would allow the fuel to pass into the oil system.

Another possibility for cars with electric fuel pumps, is a leaking fuel injector. If an injector does not stop the flow of fuel when the engine is turned off, fuel can run through the engine and past the rings, and drain into the oil pan. Especially if the intake valve is open.

On top of a leaking fuel injector, I would also look at the fuel pressure regulator. The fuel pressure regulator is typically on one end of the fuel rail. Engine vacuum attaches to the regulator. It is common for the diaphragm to rupture and allow raw fuel to be pulled into the engine.

I would pull the vacuum hose off of the regulator and inspect for wetness or a fuel smell.

Good answer. I had forgotten about it. That was a test for older vacuum modulators also.
