eminent domain

11/05/2009 3:00 PM

What the future holds for America with utilities going reusable or green. for instance and most pressing for me is wind and solar. Example one G.E>windmill accommodates supply for 147 homes on average and needs about 3/4 acre to operate. my only data on current utility grade solar panels is 4 square miles thousands of acres supply about 30 thousand people, which takes the place of a natural gas burning plant that uses about 4 acres of land. From what I understand our current grid system does not match well with those two types of supply or those two types don't match with current grid system either way sound like some more land will have to be grabbed up for this purpose so between blanketing our other resource land with solar panels and wind mills with very little or no other usable purpose for the land there after, I thought may be possible to farm the land were the wind mills graze, but the dust probably wouldn't be good for the inner workings of the wind mill definitely needs ventilation for temperature purposes. To sum up 300million people about 200 million units to service the future of our open spaces looks bleak. what say you?

And that's for only a twentieth of the planet's population.

Never mind. What about putting them out at sea or in deserts instead?

Or reducing demand?

my point is if were serious about going green and global warming and we have the technology to produce electricity commercially with solar panels why are we sitting back and letting the utilities rape us for our resources if they can make it work to supply 30,000 with 4 square miles of solar panels.then the same equation can be reduced to were every house has solar panels on it batteries are the big issue storage of the electricity produced there are companies making advances my point being why doesn't our govt invest more in advancing battery technology instead of they want to keep control and give all the land they can to the utilities so govt can keep control while utilities rape our land the govt is always looking out for what benefits the people most so what would benefit the people the most is utilizing the land they live onto produce and supply there own electricity no land grab produce where its used clean I can dream cant I watch the utilities commercials all you see is miles of windmills and miles of solar panels blanketing our beautiful land scape so panoramic
