This lathe is powered by an electric motor, non?

Is the motor's rated horsepower stated anywhere, like on a plate on the motor or in the owner's manual or somewhere on the machine itself? One horsepower is 746 watts, more or less.

ok u should do hit and trial method.

u choose a some motor and operate ur machine than u measure the ampare taken by motor and compare it with rated one .

if amps are low than try small rated motor and again compare the amps and if amps are high than u should go for bigger motor
