I am an unemployed mechanical engineer in need of immediate work.

My entire career has been devoted to product design, development, prototyping and testing, working with multidisciplinary teams to achieve great results. I am proficient in SolidWorks (through SW2008), both in designing new components and documenting existing ones. I am a very hands-on engineer, and familiar with the capabilities and limitations of various fabrication processes. I have broad experience in mechanism and system design, as well as molded plastic, sheet metal and machined parts. I have worked on high-, medium- and low-pressure liquid chromatography components and systems, and designed dispensing stations for filling electrophoresis gel cassettes. I worked in an ISO9001 environment for the past 10 years of my employment. I have also developed production equipment in a laboratory environment and supported the manufacturing department through writing production procedures and problem solving. I am a hobby/development level machinist and have both a small CNC milling machine and CNC lathe in my home workshop.
