	Electrical design is a very broad term. Try describing how you will use the software. General, vague questions will yield general vague answers.

	A basic CAD, spreadsheet or even word processing software programme work wonders when operated by a skilled electrical engineer. What exactly are you after as there is no generic "electrical design" software (except Microsoft word and Microsoft Excel). 	electrical design software that can be used in building construction industry. what i have is the ECODIAL from schneider. i still wanted to know if there is other design software out there that can be used in building construction such as cable sizing , circuit breaker sizing , KAIC computation , transformer sizing & others. __________________ magnetox
