01/13/2012 1:48 AM

i want to develop a regenerative braking circuit for a 12v,200w dc motor. a bicycle wheel would be connected to the motor as load. regenerative would be activated when the speed of the load exceeds a reference value. pic micro controller is used for monitoring the speed. can anyone help me with circuit?. what should i do if i want the motor to run only at a min speed.

please help me with a circuit for the same...its for my academic project...

thanks in advance

Please refer to CR4 FAQ 14-8, "Do your own homework. CR4 is not a homework cheat site." Have you tried doing any research on your own? If you haven't, you might want to start Here

In part of doing your own home work, is doing your own research. There are thousands of circuits on the the www. If you found a circuit that looks like it will work for you, but have problems, then the people here would be more than willing to help you.

In your own words, "this is only a part of my project and I'm not good with the hardware" Thats sounds like one of two thing's, 1) you missed the class notes dealing with associated hardware, or, 2) your in over your head, and happens to a lot of people, nothing to a shamed of. But, if you are in over your head, there's little we can do to pour the knowledge in to your head.

Try researching, radio controlled model motor controller circuits. That took me less than 1 minute for that result. So, do your home work.
