Open an account with Google (free) and create all the documents you need, for free, in 'the cloud':

If you know what you are doing you can write a time check function into Excel spreadsheets (using lookup tables to display data) that can disable the lookup tables and hence prevent the user from viewing or printing the data.

Just another option.

Hi, it seems you have programming skills!. You can make the macro to display the data only if it´s running. So if they disable the macro, the data wont show. You can password protect the macro so no one can see/modify it.

My programming skills are basic, and I don´t know how to do this.

Why not just PDF it? Or does it have to be usable until a certain date after which it locks down?

Sounds like you are trying to bypass the password protection on Word/Excel documents which we should not really help with (not publicly anyway).

Hi, we do not understand what you need, can you explain better? Seems English is not your native language (neither mine!) and is hard to understand what you are asking for.

It´s not clear if you need the documents not to be printed after certain date or not to be used/opened?

If you explain us your needs we will be better able to help you.

Also you must know that Excel and Word are part of Microsoft Office, they are not sold alone, you must buy the entire program, there are different versions depending on the use you are going to give them, from "Home and Student" (not for commercial use) to Professional (the most complete version).

As suggested you can use OpenOffice..
