Difference Between ES and FES

Can anyone tell what the differences between ES and FES in a GIS? Thanks for your help.

Without knowing what the abbreviations mean, the difference is 'F'.

Sorry, ES is "earthing switch" and FES is "fault making earthing switch".

An earthing switch is for safety grounding an already dead section of bus, a fault earthing switch can be closed while the bus is energized. From the web and ABB...
