How much time do you need to get it repaired? is there any waiting, any special fittings?

I would think anyone that uses that many hoses would have spares made up and ready to go. That is the way to resolve down time. Not make then up as they are needed. To do that would put a rush on the assembley. Rushing can cause hose failures.

A hose machine is pretty reasonable.

Its down time that is expensive.

Your right about having stock on the shelf on the more critical components

yup thats a goOd idEa.the idEal for those who dOesnt own a crimper.but stocking dOesnt change or lowerS cost.im nOt talKing aBouT a very sophIsticAteD,biG,coMpuTerizeD crimper.im thInking of the simply dEsiGneD crimper that could do hose asSembly,a manually powereD,by hand or foOt pErhapS.

Never stock dedicated hoses. Stocked hoses in two foot length increments in diameters needed. With adaptors needed to make up any possible connection.

Frankly, I only have a vague clue what he wants...........

I designed a 800 ln cheese batch cooker at a cheese processing plant. where the majority of the processing equipment ran off of hydraulic motors.....never saw it.

The had a hose making machine and a solid PM (Preventive Maintence) proceedure in place. They never really had a down time issue.

With stocked spool of hoses and standard connection.....
