You are about to have a catastrofic failure, if the seal leaks out some oil, then it also allows humid air or water inside, due to the thermal cycles.

Have it flush, replenished, and re-sealed by a renowned contractor, and this is the only way to avoid its destruction, but only if the insulators are still in good condition and there is no corrosion inside the tank or transformer core.

Good luck

The job of replacing bush may have been slip-shod. The air breather vent may be badly clogged, may need a check-up.

You have not given sufficient information to suggest possible causes of your problem. What is the voltage rating of the bushing and transformer? What type of tank design (sealed/gas blanketed, conservator, or free-breathing)? Where is the bushing leaking?

If at the flange, it suggests improper or damaged gaskets, or improper or uneven tightening of mounting bolts. If at the base or tip of the bushing body, then the bushing itself may be damaged or not properly assembled - it will probably need to be replaced, or at least rebuilt by the manufacturer. If it is a draw-lead bushing and leaking at the top, the draw-lead and cap may not have been assembled properly. If it has a capacitor test tap which is leaking, then the bushing probably should be replaced. Those are just a few common possibilities.

Please get some professional assistance from a trained electrical power equipment service company or from the manufacturer, before you have a catastrophic failure of your (probably very costly) transformer.

Call the transformer's manufacturer and arrange a service call-out, identifying all problems during the call.

As other have suggested professional help is what you need :) Have you heard of Belzona? It very likely will solve your problem without any major repair.
