HVAC Question

05/02/2013 2:21 AM

Thank you all who contributed to my previous post.I am slowly but surely winning, this one man battle,.I am so worried now on the fate of the engneering field ,where are we heading as engineers ,prffessionals, specialists. My point is we are deteriorating on almost everything from standard of work ,the know how ,the execution of work ,and the art and craft of creativity. The world is suffering because of lazy proffessionals who fear challenges and enjoy blamish free ,work....How best can we make our proffessions a positive gamechanger to the world for the benefit of our grand children.

Teach you kids and anyone else you get a chance. Spread the word.
I too am disheartened at the 'dumbing down' of the general public. In my field the trend is to have everything adjustable from outside the box.
'We can't have rep's opening the unit, there's mains inside' .
Oooooh, how do they manage to make a cup of tea without electrocuting themselves or drowning I wonder?
We have higher and higher levels of technology that the public doesn't understand and the 'experts' can't fix.
How do they fault find a modern car if the diagnostic system has a comms fault.

Gimme simple anyday... that's why I make bows and arrows (ok the arrows are a bit complicated)

Sometimes when you are frustrated at the realization you are surrounded by idiots (idiots by whichever path, choice or chance)it is time to take a moment and reflect on your good fortune.

.

After all, if you'd never been frustrated at the realization of being surrounded by idiots, in all likelihood, it'd be because you're one of the idiots.
