Profibus communication cable

01/22/2014 3:09 AM

how do I check if my existing profibus cable, which is unused for some years, is still okay for operation? I have this cable layed for two years. Then due to fire the communication network got damaged. We installed new network in that place. Now i want to check this damaged network and if possible want to use it in some other application. What should I do?
