You got to be kidding me. This is the best project they can come up with for renewable energy.

It's equal to or better than many other proposals for renewable energy.

At least the source is all but infinitely renewable....

Nearly an inexhaustible source when you consider how many people are peed-off with their government representatives these days.

So...how long will it be before giant multinational conglomerates take over the rest rooms of our local pubs?

Yes...it is the dawn of Big Pee.

If the energy savings can offset my beer budget, then count me in!

When Del the Cat and I and Vermin, and others were messing around with junkyard battery cells, the septic tank battery, et al, I did use piss as an electrolyte for one cell instead of white vinegar. Course vinegar was preferable. Pee while alright grew mold, and seemed not so great. In the end we can see why dry cells are preferable to wet cells.

We did discover there are some interesting designs for the Septic Tank battery, which mimic hybrid batteries, and are a step below fuel cells.

Apparently there is dirtmud in Australia that right wrapped is right promising as a dry cell with little processing. Course they are going to make more money off simply sending coal to China and Japan for the foreseeable future.

P.S. The jars with roofing tin, and roofing copper with wires I made during the early period of involvement with CR4 that would actually produce by my Sperry meter 1.7 volts, were recently stolen.

Talk about pissing people off. This sounds almost like flushing money down the toilet. I wonder if budgetary committees really leak money so readily.

So far urine has been found useful in many areas but not limited to the following areas:

a)electrolyte in batteries

b)as fertiliser

c)as medicine(in some eastern countries some people drink urine in the early morning to remain free of illnesses)

Not so good as electrolyte in batteries.

Good fertilizer.

People drinking pee doesn't make it medicine.

Ancient Romans used it as one of the ingredients for tooth paste and as a sexual amusement (Aurea pluviae ). They gave it other uses as well, they even collected it from buildings using a dedicated sewage.

Modern mankind has discovered its usefulness as a clinic diagnostic tool and as a sexual amusement (Golden rain).

But funding studies towards pee powered generators is just another proof of the decay of universities perspectives, biased by eviro-freak theories.

Enough !! Get real !! We need to develop on proven efficient technologies, no "grin-piss" stupid concepts.

They want to be environmentally friendly? GOOD!!! let 'em go live on a cave, eat dirt and rot there if they wish ! But progress must (and will ) go on.

'How be it true', I've noticed at age 75 that the older you get the less you pee and the less energy you have..So the reverse must hold some truth..I find this as interesting as the origin of the term,'Piss poor', and' Not a pot to piss in or a window to throw it out of'. Also to the point it will cure a lot of the foot fugus..

I´m up for it. All they have to do is find out if it works and centralize all drain systems into the plant. Now, if this really works, can we pee and poop at the same time or would we contaminate our base product?
