Yeah seen that. Its the James Edward House in Chicago.

You should see the front!

James how comes you are hiding here at CR4? Why not go a step higher to CR3?

You might ever deserve a CR1!

What a house! ;-)

Indeed. There's one on the north side of the railway line at Hook, Hampshire, and one needs to look carefully to find it.

Some work well, but this excrescence by the M4 between Reading and Newbury stands out like a sore thumb:

Not the greatest architecture IMO.
The roof looks like an afterthought, or were they running out of money.

That tall tree standing alone looks like a Norfolk pine or Cook pine. This must be in the South Pacific or a similar climate - possibly coastal Texas or Florida.

The building itself looks rather modern and quite institutional - a school or hospital maybe?

Everyone was stumped this week! The building in the picture is the Yaddo mansion in Saratoga Springs, NY - now an artist's community. The gardens and fountains are absolutely beautiful.

Wow - fooled me! The building looks newer than that, and the Norfolk/Cook pine is a very long way from home.
