You've located Obama's thesis paper!

No wonder so much effort has been put into keeping his college days secret.

I thought that was the list of CR4 postings that didn't prompt kramarat to reply with some kind of dig at Obama.

I'm digging him just fine. Not only has he managed to trash the US constitution, but as a business owner, I will be sure to let Americans know that I stand behind Obama and his decision to illegally keep the flow of cheap labor coming.

Black America has chosen a savior, and the savior has chosen Central America. I want Obama to stay the course. I love what he's doing.

Sure, there are a couple of inconsequential questions, like, "Will he send drones into Ferguson?", but overall, Obama rocks!

Huh? 93% of blacks voted for Obama, and he has sold them out.

Join my "African-American Conservatives" FB page, and you can get an impression of the level of disgust that is felt.

Anyway, I'm moving to the breakroom to continue the discussion on Barry's success.

You may have a point. The Dow-Jones approaches 18,000, but the bubbas and the brothers are not doing so hot. Meanwhile, if the Kochs realized which side their bread is buttered on, they should rally for Hillary in 2016.

QE and zero interest money to the big banks. It's a free-for-all...well, free for a lucky few.

Wonder what happened to the occupy Wall St gang? The cronyism is running rampant.

I wish I had the ability to borrow $100 billion at zero interest and use it for some sure fire short term investments.

We're at $4.5 trillion in "recovery" spending.

All the partners except Oprah herself.

The Marx Bros. estate and holding corporation have nothing to do with Harpo Studios.

The name came almost literally from Oprah looking at herself in a mirror, reading her own name tag. You'd think that she could have seen around her big ... ego(1) and realized that there would be confusion about the name, but then again, she's Oprah, the biggest name(2) in talk shows, she can do and say what she wants without repercussions(3).

Notes:

1) Thought I was going for a fat joke? Shame on you.

2) Considering her yo-yoing weight, I COULD have done a fat joke here, and only have a 50-50 chance of it being in bad taste at the time.

3) When her public spokesman says things, however, there ARE repercussions. She was loved in Chicago, and people were begging in the streets for her to stay, then her spokesman made a public statement about 'Chicagoans don't really understand her and she doesn't care about Chicago,' and almost immediately turned the cries of "Stay with us, Oprah" to "Don't let the door hit your big butt(4) on the way out, we don't want butt-marks on our nice door."

4) Fine, I finally made a fat joke about Oprah, happy now?

Wait five minutes, she will be.

Wait ten more minutes, she won't be anymore.

The woman seems to change her weight more often than she changes her hairstyle.

Um, er,

Call me Ishmael....

Elmer Gantry was drunk....

It was a bright cold day in April, and the clocks were striking thirteen....

It was a pleasure to burn.....

It was the best of times, it was the worst of times.....

Somewhere in la Mancha......

It was love at first sight.....

....No, no, that's no good, who on earth would buy a book with those opening lines.!!

....Um, er,…yes..Once upon a time….. in days of old….Yes!.......

College prof's thesis topic: "Why?"; Student's answer: "Why not?". - (I heard this story years ago, and the answer was apparently, supposedly to have been good enough for his credit. - not sure how true it is, though).

This happened to me in my philosophy class when I was in college.

The Professor put a chair on top of the table, and addressed the class.

Professor: "In two paragraphs, please describe the chair on the table?"

p911: "What chair?"

Needless to say, I did well in that class.

If Dennis wins the award, I'm not sure if he should silently accept the prize or ramble on so long that Miss Sweetie Poo comes on stage.

The wording of the expression metamorphosed during many decades. In 1949 Evan Esar credited Robert Benchley with the saying. It is possible that Benchley did employ the quotation indicated by Esar.
