lol - I'm so inspirational !

The pic looks familiar. There is a place in Northern Oz where banks of cloud roll in on a regular basis. It truly does look like end of the world stuff, but for whatever reason is a regular event. Hopefully somrbody from Oz is reading anf will know the place

I once saw similar over here and damn near pooped my pants. A rapidly moving wall of cloud that as somebody mentiond on this photo was like Independence Day. The place I'm thinking of in Australia has this like clockwork, several waves of such cloud moving across the sky in quick succession.

Cheers. The OT follows automatic if replying to an OT post, it's just a quirk of CR4. I posted OT because my input was not just jocular. Your feedback is much appreciated by me, and regular readers don't put too much stock on voting, they will notice and value your input. Thank you, I'm slightly more assured that I've not lost the plot !

The workaround is to reply to the original post, then just add 'with regard to post <whatever>.

I have seen this cloud formation roll in over Lake Michigan. It is awe inspiring. Just last summer it seemed to come out of nowhere when we were at a beachside restaurant in the middle of the afternoon. We knew there was a storm coming but we had no idea it was going to be this dramatic. The sun was blocked out and it turned dark as night. Very cool.
