Surely that would be a retrograde step...?

Shouldn't it be making the future the present?

But don't you think that we live in "lag time" anyway that the past is the future? The stars' reflection that we see today happen light years ago. We're just receiving the glow. Therefore, If NASA goes to where the light is happening "In the moment" then they would be bringing the past into the future. To now.

3. NASA - "We spent a billion dollars to monitor the mating habits of ants in zero gravity. Give us some more money"

4. NASA - "Give us a non-essential mission, and we'll blow 100 billion dollars to accomplish it!"

NASA - Look what happened when all the Canadian engineers poached from the Avro Arrow program retired!!!!!
