He's Had it with the Mobile Web

Posted October 06, 2007 8:36 AM

Scott Karp complains his wireless carrier is too slow. Can you believe his frustration almost forced a telephone call to his wife — so she could look up the hours of a store on the home broadband? Here's some more salt to the wound: The small screen of his iPhone, not to mention ad copy, slows down page loading, limiting his ability to scan merchandise. Message to Karp: The marketers have their hooks in you. Forget the mobile Web — it's over rated. And as long as you're lowering your aggravation level, drop the store; that place doesn't have anything you need either.

I find that when I try and microwave a chicken with my mobile phone it is incredibly slow...

I also find pissing in the tumble drier just doesn't work out?
