I've always watched in wonder

Americans always think of the EU in general as rather protectionist

And yet they not only allow rallying, to the best of my knowledge there are no lawsuits nor disclaimers to sign.

One area where the EU is way better off than the US. Here every one of those people (spectators) would file suit, no matter what there level of participation or contribution to getting injured.

I love how the spectators just take it in stride when they almost get creamed by a car.

There doesn't seem to be any real safe place to watch a road rally race. Even the straight aways have their share of accidents.

I'd like to see before and after race pictures of all the cars. Especially the ones that actually finish a race. Amazing the damage they can suffer and still race.
