Reminds me of the story about the guy with the frog on his forehead....when someone asked "how long has that been there?", the frog said "It started about 3 months ago as a lump on my ass."

ROFLMAO - This is what happens when you drink goat's milk from a young age.

I am not sure this is a bona fide image that has not been (1) photoshopped, or (2) staged by a grandmother with a warped sense of humor by gluing the horn onto her forehead.

As far as EdZachary disease - her face does look edzarchary like her ...

Anything is better than medications..... especially warfarin, when you have to have protein tests regularly to check on your level of clotting agents..... and with warfarin, if not treated/monitored properly, is as or more dangerous that the ailment itself.

I just looked at this blog for the first time and I have seen the answer, but I was going to say a heart valve due to the way it was being "hygienically" held with tweezers and rubber gloves....

Close but no cigar!!

ON a human? I don't know, but probably if you wore that for a ball cap, it might work (as far as preventing an unwanted pregnancy, or opportunity for one).

It could be a vaginal mesh (now that my thinking has gone south), bladder sling, or pelvic sling, in which case, the lawyers will be ringing the phones here on CR4 any moment now.

Well, as no one replied to my question, here is my guess: it is an implantable device made in Nitinol and Poliethylene in the shape of an umbrella, basically an advanced "Stent". This umbrella may be used to close a communication between adjacent chambers in the heart. It is delivered by means of a catheter.
