Aliens don't use coins, or Google.

They've gone back to wampum and smoke signals.

That's no coin, it's an LP record.

That photo is of a copy of the record that was attached to V'ger- Sorry, Voyager 1 and/or 2, with 'significant audio snippets' from the 60's, when the probes were launched.

Also on the probes are record players to play the LP's, in case the aliens have all switched to CD's by now.

I wasn't sure if I was being 'too retro,' after all, *WE'VE* already abandoned vinyl for CDs, then abandoned CD for direct digital download.

I stand corrected.

I just remembering it containing nature sounds (including whalesong), greetings in several Human languages, popular music from the era, and If I'm not misremembering, some of the more uplifting recorded speeches about humanity needing to band together as brothers.

This does not correlate any intelligence in beauty. I wonder if there are theory around. The prettier the specie the smarter they become.

So far in the animal kingdom, included in the top 5 list of intelligent specie are

  1. Chimpanzee
  2. Pigs
  3. Bottlenose Dolphins
  4. Parrot
  5. Whales

I could not agree, they are far more beautiful and intelligent than us. Now, for those ugly Extraterrestrial, I could agree even that they are dumber than us.

The Stoned Rosette. (Reminds me somewhat of the Viking platter.)

That should have been Voyager rather than Viking.

Without cheating, I'm guessing it's some type of gold disk that we're going to or did shoot into space.

I'm going to look now.

The Voyager Golden Records are phonograph records that were included aboard both Voyager spacecraft launched in 1977.

I'll just wait 'til they go platinum!!
