Well, this type of Stirling engine is a toy or a conversation piece. For an engineer who knows about them, it's so ho hum. For a lot of people, it can be very impressive.

Of course, if you want to get people interested in them, this would not be the way to do it. For one thing, you can't drink your coffee while it's running! Then, by the time it stops (an hour later), the coffee's not hot anymore and not fun drinking.
