Amazon's Drone Hive

06/27/2017 10:11 AM

Amazon has been working on developing drones for deliveries. Apparently the delivery drones will be coming from hive like warehouses. Here's the article:

It should look like the beehive on the State Flag of Utah, the Beehive State.

I would not be surprised if Wifey does not get out my Benneli and fill a couple of drones with buckshot.

Humanity is doomed, I tell you, doomed! The swarm is coming, the swarm is coming.

One if by land, two if by sea, and three if by air. The swarm is coming, run for your lives!

I hope Sylvester knows where he is, and not only that, the pilot and passenger know also, and are cool with that. Can you say, cat shredding the wings in panic mode is not a happy time?

Either way, that is one cool kitty!

I hate cats. I applaud the person who who set this one up, although I think (s)he went a little far. Cats are paranoid enough as it is!

Tell us why you "hate cats". Was interacting with cats a failed childhood experience?

Did your abusive parent use a cat on you? With nine tails? OMG!

Tell us how you really feel now, don't hold back.

I hate cats with the white-hot heat of a thousand suns! (no offense Del)

Cats are like liberals:

  1. They don't really care about anyone but themselves
  2. They always have a hidden agenda
  3. They only want you when they need something from you
  4. When you do something for them, it's forgotten immediately
  5. They are about the most disingenuous animal on the face of the Earth

How's that for not holding back?

Nice!

Now give me one good reason why not to hate a cat...or a dog.

This has to be an expensive program, though perhaps in the long run the costs might come down. It seems to me that there are a lot of unknowns that Amazon will need to go through before this really becomes viable, logistically as well as legally. My guess is that, for now, a strong factor in their drone development is that it is a signal to delivery companies like UPS to keep their costs low.

I think they're banking on people ordering stuff just to watch the drone deliver it...

If the products are leaving by air, then why would the products need to come in by truck or rail ?
