Employees With Implanted Chips

07/25/2017 1:52 PM

I came across this article and thought I'd pass it along. Kind of worries me that so many were so eager to volunteer for this...

So what's wrong with a few unnecessary implants?

At least it isn't using a mobile telephone/cellphone!

I completely agree. Some people will swap privacy for a little bit of convenience. This case is voluntary, but it's a slippery slope. The time could come when you cannot buy anything without getting your microchip scanned. Most of us find that repugnant, but unborn generations may see nothing wrong with it.

especially if its a passive RFID.... one thinks hacking is bad now.

Most of us find that repugnant, but unborn generations may see nothing wrong with it.

They keep working it to make it a society 'norm'.

Ah. Correction: the bar-code thing doesn't cater for the biologically-implanted mobile telephone/cellphone future concept, which will bring a whole new meaning to "home alone", and which will knock the bottom out of the handset market; US$250 a throw for a handset will become a thing of the past and all one will need to do is pop along to the local hospital's Outpatients Dept. for a subcutaneous upgrade.

Imagine being able to take calls while asleep!

I share your concern over the fascination with this technology. One person I saw interviewed wasn't running to get herself chipped. She pointed out that she doesn't know long-term health effects. I hadn't thought about that; I would worry about the information contained on the chip. Is there stuff I don't know about and don't want to share? Can some stranger read the chip with a cell phone?

Beyond what might leak out of the chip into your body if the chip were damaged, there might be side effects merely from the implant proceedure.

I remember reading about dogs developing cysts/nodules/tumors around the place their ID chip was implanted. Apparently the chip will migrate around if the body is not coaxed into growing tissue around the chip to restrict movement, so something was added to encourage growth/connection. Apparently some types or doses encourge too much additional growth.

Nice reference!

This is a gentle chide:

Haven't you been around long enough to be able to make the link you provide be active?

A lot more people would see what you pointed to.

The only reason I went there is that I wanted to tell you the above.

I felt I could only do that if I knew the content.

It only takes a few extra keystrokes!

Here, I'm going to help:

How many times will you blink when heads roll?

Heads will roll, there is no doubt, when the triumphant one stands at the gate and begins to shout. Sauce for the goose, but more for the gander, when the real shadows are revealed, the public with gather.

Locks of hair, blinking eye, blood, and gore, 666 is the badge she wore. She is the dragon, the serpent lady of old, now conspiring to take all our gold. If gold we will not bear, then she will settle for iron, iron and blood, blood and iron. Not sated until all is silent.

Boy you are just one good push from the edge....

..."Thou think'st 'tis much that this contentious storm

Invades us to the skin: so 'tis to thee;
But where the greater malady is fix'd,
The lesser is scarce felt. Thou'ldst shun a bear;
But if thy flight lay toward the raging sea,
Thou'ldst meet the bear i' the mouth. When the
mind's free,
The body's delicate: the tempest in my mind
Doth from my senses take all feeling else
Save what beats there. Filial ingratitude!
Is it not as this mouth should tear this hand
For lifting food to't? But I will punish home:
No, I will weep no more. In such a night
To shut me out! Pour on; I will endure.
In such a night as this! O Regan, Goneril!
Your old kind father, whose frank heart gave all,--
O, that way madness lies; let me shun that;
No more of that."...

Why? Did you try eating some salt? If I don't get my salt, my legs cramp up at night after a full day's exhaustion. You seem quick with the wrong advice, weighing it by old wive's tales, or by phony extension from Madame Obama.

Where is the outrage?

I make a comment in which I include an animation that happens to display a horse penis and all kinds of backlash occurs; people are disturbed and readily make note of such.

The comment to which I am replying has illustrations of peoples heads being chopped off, yet, no similar outrage is noted! Just one open mouth emoji and some ballads provided to accompany the scene.

.

Just to be clear, everyone is okay with chopping human heads off, but post an animation that happens to include a horse phallus and all of a sudden "No! Harrumph! That will not do!". Do I have that correct?

Oppressors seem to enjoy seeing power wielded on others. They also seem to despise the slightest implication they're not joining in a pleasure by others.

Its simular to 'scope creep',... only is more like 'social norm creep'.

How many are getting used to a gunman going into a public place or business and killing people.

Or if a certain sect of our society doesn't get their way, they riot and burn the towns they live in.

Its may not be accepted, yet ... but its now expected.

or a million dollar book deal from a failed politician

Well, now that you mentioned it, there is plenty of historical reference to stand alongside the guillotine. I am not endorsing it, just stating that the scent of blood is already in the air in Foggy Bottoms.

If you wish me to apologize for my comments, OK, I apologize, but don't say I didn't tell you so.

I'm against anything that sounds unnatural. I don't believe in adding to or taking from the human body anything that is or isn't already there, except for medical reasons. That includes tattoo's, nose rings and other piercings, body shaping (face lifts), circumcision, feet binding, etc. If you believe the body is a temple of God, then anything that damages that temple is an affront to God.

Agreed, all those things seem to at best work against the plan of the intelligent designer.

What about that commercial where the girls are going for "cold surgery" fat removal? It might be called cool sculpting. I think they are subjected to some low, but probably not dangerous temperatures (as per frost bite) on key fatty areas.

If course, the other side of this argument is that the modern diet put them in need of these services in the first place.
