I'm no expert but I always thought that you would not amend the site on line. I believe that you would make the changes locally using whatever software was used to create the page & then upload the finished result. I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

Hi, exemmet!

Have you tried using standard search engines with the name/some of the content you know is included in the web site. Search engine crawlers have probably listed it by now.

Many websites have a site provider but a different host. After looking at the website, can you find out who wrote the site for you? they may be able to tell you how to log on.

You may be able to get on by using:

ftp:rhodesianridgebackwelfaretrust.com

Some hosts will jump this to a login script. You may have to add a "www." in front of rhodesian

If yours is a FREEBEE site then the provider has tools you can use by accessing with your user and password. If on the other hand it's from your server, then you should be able to enter into it and make all the necessary adjustments. Otherwise call the webmaster and ask for directions.

For all my web sites I use an FTP client and upload / download edit change whatever I like on-line...

It sounds like you are not using FTP perhaps? The FTP software is extremely cheap and easy to use.

John.
