I'm afraid this is the big problem with starting programming on a new processor or language....
The documentation is usually so poor it is virtually impossible to understand all the various linker options/switches which need enabling and which files which need attaching.
I usually start working from one of the demonstration programs which (hopefully) comes with the development kit.
That is to say, I find a working demo software (and board if there is one in the kit) and expand out from there.
I expect some people will throw their hands up in horror at such a dumb, empirical approach.
In the real world when you are trying to get a new piece of kit working asap, the there isn't always time to study sketch documentation for a linkier that was written by a semi illiterate computer genius 30 years ago.

Hope this is of some help
Best of luck

Del

Ask whoever give you the program to give you the header files. If you "took" the program from someone, search for the header files and "took" them also.

If you wrote the program, you wouldn't use a library/header that you don't have.
