What is IstE355 material?

What is IstE355 material? Is this have any ASTM standard and if yes is it truly close to match all properties regarding weldablility and corossion? Thanks in advance.

It seems an European Standard (EN) or DIN designation for steel with 355 N/mm2 yield strength. If this is the only designation type you have, please confirm it. Could be StE355? or WStE355? or TTStE355? Those are fine grained carbon steels according to DIN/SEW standards (W means hot service, TT means low temperature service) but all of them are easily weldable. Corrosion resistance is like any other carbon steel.

Low carbon, Fine grained, controlled residuals. Should weld like a charm.
