SPEED DRIVE

MY OMRON SPEED DRIVE GOT BURNT AND WAS REPLACED, HOWEVER THE NEW ONE DOES NOT RESPOND TO START COMMAND

Download or get a copy of the engineering manual and look up the section on "Start" ...

There are usually a number of options for how the starter wiring is connected and the newer drives have to be configured via the HMI (front panel) to understand how the system is wired....

Are you working for a company or is this a personal project?

I'm not familiar with these drives--But most drives have an ENABLE terminal and also STOP that must have a signal before START will do anything(if it is programmed to run). We usually have enable and stop jumpered together after the E-stop or master control relay.

did u get the supplier to install it or u just bought it?Best is to call the supplier
