Peace upon you all

in Copper wire drawing M/C we use Steam to protect copper wire from oxidation but we need replacement of steam by Nitrogen so we need know what are the advantages of Nitrogen and what is the expected problems may be appear if we used it.

Please describe why there is a need to replace the steam by nitrogen on the basis of "if it works, don't fix it"?

If you mean to replace a steam dryer with a nitrogen atmosphere oven, it should be anhydrous nitrogen. This will be at least 90% dry and displace most of the 20% oxegen found in our breathing air, which will prevent corrosion in the drying oven. You will still have a problem coming out of the oven unless the wire gets coated.
