Stepper Motor

we have Juki kazz machine and on this machine a 3 phase stepper motor is used as main motor. This motor got jam. we open it and found its permanent magnet on rotor in two pieces . we joint it and fitted the motor its free now and when we installed on machine its run with high speed and heatup with in 60 sec without any load and after that its not run please suggest whats the problem

It is as clear as day. Buy a replacement 3 phase stepper motor from OEM & replace it.

You have two choices.

1. Buy a new motor.

2. Send the old motor to a competent motor re-builder.

Your magnetic field is no longer correct to run the motor. When the magnet fell out of the holder it probably hit the armature then broke. Once the magnet breaks you have two fields not one, causing the motor to speed up but losing torque, thus heating up trying to do the work it was originally intended to do and now can't.

I have to agree, the only fix is a new motor.

If OEM or motor re-builder cant be reached because of whatever reasons, try finding out the original magnet specifications (like dimensions, field strength etc.). Next step would be to procure a magnet with the same specifications. Lastly re fix it and run.
