Short Circuits Protection

how to protect the short circuit protection in texas instrument ic mc33063aqdrq1 in buck model if u have any suggestion or circuit share with them

Some sort of fuse. There are resettable circuit board fuses that might work.

There are also tantalum capacitors that have built in fuses. Obviously they will not prevent the capacitor or power supply from failing, but they will create a graceful failure.
