Found in cave in the year 2550:

Archaeologists claim to have found the primitive ancestor of the spoon-billed

Soupapotomus.

Note the 4 retractable claws.

3 and 5 claw species have been found in the same layer.

Young cowboy to old timer staring at a steaming bowl of soup. "Hey old timer, you gonna eat that?" "Naw", says the old timer sliding the bowl over. The cowboy starts wolfing it down and suddenly throws up in the bowl. "Hey, there's a dead mouse in here!" The old timer replies "Yah I know, that's as far as I got to".

The man called the waiter to his table. "Taste the soup," he said.
"Is it too hot?" the waiter asked.
"Just taste the soup."
"Is it too cold?"
"Just taste the soup."
"Too salty?"
"Just taste the soup!"
"Is there a fly in it?"
"Just. Taste. The soup."
"Fine, fine! Where's the spoon?"
"Ah ha..."

Is there any truth to the rumor that Namibian lizzards travel the highways with a stick in their mouth? Do they also stop occasionally putting the stick in the ground, and climb up to cool their little feet?

Do you have a robot named "Chappie"?

How many pounds of sand can a Namibian woodchuck pound, if a woodchuck could pound sand?

No, I don't have a Chappie, locally its a chewing gum brand but I don't go for gum, only occasionally when circumstance demands that my "exhalations be masked," but then I rather choose a stronger brand of gum. but usually when I think that beer is heavily on my breath I cover it with some or other ethanol based refreshment. Granted, once in dire need of a good cover I swilled a mouthful of gasoline (petrol) for the task. It worked well, but I since learned that mixed with two-stroke it's more palatable.

Mostly, we measure by the pipeline here. Sometimes by the railcar, other times by the truckload. Once in a the long hear time ago, they used to use barrels (which were drums by the time I was calved). I ain't never heard of pumping oil by the gallon. Must be a micro-oil patch in Namibia. Sounds like you are definitely enjoying yourself too much today. Watch out for the serpent.

I came upon a fork in the road while riding my bicycle. There it was, in the tar patching strip, a piece of flatware, embedded in the pavement. I suspect someone on the repair drew had a sense of humor. And you wouldn't be picking it up since you would need a hammer and chisel to dislodge it.
