Paint-on Solar Cells

Posted August 14, 2007 8:51 AM by Sharkles

A single-walled carbon nanotube complex produces polymer bulk heterojunction photovoltaics that could someday be painted on building walls or roofs. Engineers at the New Jersey Institute of Technology have developed the fullerene material. Intrigued? Find out more from the Journal of Materials Chemistry.

Hi Del,

That reminds me of the early seventys when integrated circuits were just taking off. It was reported that the Japanese had invented a large memory on a chip (don't remember its reported size) but they couldn't figure out how to get wires small enough to get data into and out of it.

Where do I sign up to be a test house. Got lots of sun year round and lots of exposed area on a 2 story block building with a hip roof. Changing the roof will be no problem if need be. Contact me anytime I want offer the building for your R and D.

I can use high pressure spray also. Ship it to me I will apply it and hook up the system to your design.
